2024年10月22日上午10时,由香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆联合中国地图出版集团共同举办的“咫尺天下——中国地图出版集团捐赠地图展”,在香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆二楼展厅正式拉开帷幕。
On the morning of October 22, 2024, at 10 a.m., the "A World Within Reach—Map Donation Exhibition by China Map Publishing Group," co-organized by the Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) and the China Map Publishing Group, officially commenced in the second-floor exhibition hall of the University Library.

值此香港中文大学(深圳)建校十周年及中国地图出版集团七十周年社庆之际,双方携手呈现了一场别开生面的地图展览,旨在丰富校园文化生活,促进地理知识的普及与教育。
Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the CUHK-Shenzhen and the seventieth anniversary of the China Map Publishing Group, the two institutions joined forces to present a unique map exhibition. The event aims to enrich the academic learning environment on campus and promote geographic knowledge education.

本次展览共展出了中国地图出版集团捐赠给香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆的二百余种珍贵地图资料。展品内容丰富,形式多样,包括单张挂图、立体挂图、地图集、地图册以及地图相关科普书籍等。其中,不乏详尽的各省市地图册,为观者提供了全面了解中国地理风貌的宝贵机会。
The exhibition showcases over two hundred types of valuable cartographic materials donated by the China Map Publishing Group to the Library. The exhibits are diverse in format, including individual wall maps, three-dimensional maps, atlases, and popular science books related to cartography. Among them are detailed atlases of various provinces and cities, providing visitors with a precious opportunity to comprehensively understand China's geographic landscape.

开幕式由香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆馆长葛剑雄教授主持并致开幕词。葛教授首先对中国地图出版集团表示了衷心的感谢,感谢其对大学教育事业的鼎力支持和慷慨捐赠。他指出,这批地图资料的到来,不仅丰富了图书馆的馆藏资源,更为广大师生提供了学习、研究地理知识的重要平台,对于推动我国地理教育事业的发展具有重要意义。
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Ge Jianxiong, the University Librarian of the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen, who also delivered the opening speech. Professor Ge expressed heartfelt gratitude to the China Map Publishing Group for its generous donation and robust support for higher education studies. He noted that the arrival of these cartographic materials enriches the Library's collection and provides an essential platform for faculty and students to learn and research geographic knowledge, which is significant to advancing China's geographic education.

Professor Chen Yongqin, the Master of Muse College at CUHK-Shenzhen, also attended the ceremony. Professor Chen stated that the University is committed to nurturing high-quality talent with international perspectives and innovative capabilities. Promoting geographic education is one of the vital keys to achieving this goal. The exhibition will enhance the geographic literacy of faculty and students and further inspire a love and exploratory spirit for the country's magnificent landscapes.

据悉,此次展览将持续至本月底,期间将对全校师生及广大社会公众实行免费参观政策。为确保馆内日常教学秩序不受影响,同时保障参观质量,展览特别设定在10月26日与27日下午2时至5时,对社会公众开放参观,每次开放时段限接待100人。此外,14岁以下儿童恕不接待。目前,社会公众的预约渠道(网址:http://t1.ink/f/hhp7iy)已正式开通,校外参观者需在10月24日之前完成预约登记。成功预约的观众,可凭个人有效身份证件,在指定日期的下午2时至5时直接进入展馆,无需另行申请入校或展馆准入许可。我们诚挚邀请全校师生及社会各界朋友莅临参观,一同体验地图的神奇魅力,饱览祖国大好河山的壮美风光。
