2024年10月31日,由香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆与中国地图出版集团联合举办的“咫尺天下——中国地图出版集团捐赠地图展”,经过为期10天的展出,在香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆二楼展厅圆满闭幕。

本次地图展共展示了由中国地图出版集团捐赠的200余种珍贵地图资料,涵盖单张挂图、立体挂图、地图集、地图册及地图相关科普书籍等。这些地图资料全面展现了中国各省市的地理特征,为广大师生提供了一个深入了解地理知识的平台,有效激发了读者对祖国大好河山的热爱和探索热情。
The map exhibition featured a collection of over 200 precious maps donated by the China Map Publishing Group, including individual wall maps, three-dimensional maps, atlases, and popular science books related to cartography. These materials provided a comprehensive display of the geographical features of various provinces and cities in China, offering faculty and students a platform to deepen their understanding of geographic knowledge and igniting their passion for exploring the country's beautiful landscapes.

此外,10月29日下午,图书馆与大学思廷书院合作推出的“不二倾谈:微距看世界之左图右史”教授对谈活动在展览现场成功举办。本次活动围绕地图展展开,由图书馆馆长葛剑雄教授与思廷书院院长陈永勤教授共同主讲,通过深入对话,带领读者领略了世界历史与地理的交融之美。
In conjunction with the map exhibition, on the afternoon of October 29, a collaborative event titled "Equote Salon" was successfully held on-site. This event was a joint effort between the Library and the Muse College of CUHK-Shenzhen. Professor Ge Jianxiong, Director of the Library, and Professor Chen Yongqin, Dean of Muse College, led the session. Through in-depth dialogue, they guided attendees to appreciate the intertwining beauty of world history and geography.
