Dear Library Users,

We hope your midterm season went well and that you've taken some time to reward yourself for all your hard work.

In November, our enthusiastic librarians hosted several special events encouraging learning and reading, including the Sishi Winter Book Exhibition and the "Legends Unfold – 2024: A Walk in the Books" series. We hope these inspired you to pick up a new book.

December is packed with even more excitement! We're excited to announce two upcoming events. First is the "Make a Wish" event, where you can anonymously share your wishes at the University Library. Second, "Appreciation To You," where you can discover gifts from the Library. Check out the Library Event section attached to this newsletter for all the details. You will want to take advantage of this!

CnOpenData是覆盖经济、法律、医疗、人文等多个学科维度的综合型数据平台，并持续提供个性化数据定制服务，现拥有350+个专题数据库，涵盖专利数据（1.1亿+量级）、工商注册企业数据（2亿+量级）、上市公司数据、土地数据、政府数据、新冠疫情数据、分地区数据、交通数据、气象数据等二十五大数据系列，数值型数据和文本型数据并存，学术研究价值极高。

Highlight:

数据主要以另类数据为主，数据颗粒度细、角度新颖，极大区别于市场上其他传统类型的数据库。
基于房地产研究的需求主要集中在宏观数据和微观土地数据，更为微观的二手房交易数据、新房数据以及开发区数据对于进一步研究中国问题是非常有帮助的。

10月31日，咫尺天下——中国地图出版集团捐赠地图展”在香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆圆满闭幕。展览虽已结束，但不少师生仍意犹未尽，希望再次细细观赏那些精美的地图挂图。On October 31, the "A World Within Reach—Map Donation Exhibition by China Map Publishing Group" lowered the curtain at the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen.
