Dear Library Users,
As we find ourselves bidding farewell to 2024, we were greeting you at the Chapter One booth just yesterday. We hope this semester has been a rewarding experience for you and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
This December, the Library has lined up a series of resources and events to excite your exam season. Our lovely subject librarians have organized workshops throughout the past semester, introducing valuable tools and methods to help you achieve your academic goals. If you missed any sessions, don't worry—they're available to view on the library's website. Plus, our "Make a Wish" event is running until January 13, 2024, inviting all users to visit the University Library and write down their New Year wishes as we look forward to 2025.
As the semester ends, we hope you feel prepared and ready to end 2024 on a high note. With the festive season upon us, there's a palpable sense of excitement and joy. We wish you health and happiness during this special time. Remember, time is one of the most precious gifts we have. Happy holidays!

图书馆荣获“香港中文大学（深圳）2024年宣传工作最佳潜力奖”
近日，香港中文大学（深圳）成功举办了“2024年宣传工作总结表彰会暨2025年宣传战略研讨会”。会议于11月28日感恩节当天在校园内举行，旨在总结2024年度宣传工作的成果，表彰先进团队与个人，并为未来十年的宣传工作规划蓝图。在此次表彰会上，图书馆凭借在品牌建设及宣传推广工作中的杰出表现，荣获了“最佳潜力奖”。这一荣誉不仅充分肯定了图书馆在过去一年中的辛勤努力和显著成绩，更对图书馆未来的发展寄予了厚望和激励。More…

秋季“书林漫步”系列活动圆满落幕 神话传说展未来再续新章 Library's ‘A Walk in the Books’ Fall Term Session Wraps Up with Record Participation and Announces Next Creative Chapter
随着12月的到来，图书馆在11月成功举办的2024-2025学年“书林漫步”系列活动秋季展已圆满结束。本次活动以“神话·传说”为主题，通过主题书展、拍照打卡、VR互动电影观赏及Read It Out读书分享视频展等多种形式，吸引了超过2000人次的校内外读者与访客参与，其中1567人次有明确的参观记录，以及通过预约系统前来的16条校外人士在周末的观展记录。这一数据充分显示了活动的高人气与广泛影响力。活动现场还特别设置了拍照打卡区域，吸引了300余名读者及访客的积极参与，他们也在此留下了美好的瞬间。同时，图书馆fablab推出的VR互动电影院活动也收到了众多读者欢迎。As December arrives, the Library's 2024/2025 "A Walk in the Books" series Fall Term Session, successfully held in November, has ended. The themed "Legends Unfold" event featured various activities, including a themed book exhibition, photo spot, VR interactive theatre, and a Read It Out video book-sharing exhibition. It attracted over 2,000 participants from within and outside the campus, with 1,567 recorded visits and 16 scheduled visits from external visitors on weekends. These figures highlight the event's popularity and wide-reaching impact. A unique photo area was set up at the event, drawing over 300 enthusiastic participants who captured memorable moments. On November 15, Ms. Helen Wang, Deputy Director of the Library at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), led a team of 15 library staff to Guangzhou to participate in the 10th Sino-Foreign Joint Venture University Library Annual Conference. This year's event, hosted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), focused on the theme "AI and Me: Share Your Story," exploring the application and development of artificial intelligence in the library sector. 11月15日，香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆副馆长王雯斐女士率领一个由15名图书馆成员组成的代表团前往广州，参与由香港科技大学（广州）主办的第十届中外合作大学图书馆年会（简称JVU图书馆年会）。此次年会的主题为“AI与我：分享你的故事”，旨在深入交流人工智能技术在图书馆领域的应用及发展前景。More…

2024年11月27日，适逢中山大学建校100周年之际，香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆作为粤港澳高校图书馆联盟的重要成员，代表广东省参与了于中山大学举办的“2024年粤港澳高校图书馆联盟年会暨青年学者论坛”。在本次活动中，我馆代表出席的有，副馆长王雯斐女士、读者品牌部负责人龚玮凡老师以及图书馆事务协调的邓依璇老师出席，与来自粤港澳大湾区的多家图书馆同行共聚一堂，共同参与此次盛会。On November 27, 2024, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen University, the Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), represented Guangdong at the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Library Alliance Annual Meeting and Young Scholar Forum, hosted by Sun Yat-sen University.
