- Library Notification -
- Rooms Q101-Q106 on the first floor of Philip Wong Yu-hong & Anita Leung Fung-yee Library have been transformed into Quiet Study Rooms and will be available for online reservation. Please refer to the "Group Study Room Booking System" for usage rules. The online reservation for the relevant rooms is scheduled to open on September 1, 2023.
- The library space adjustment has been completed, and we have created extra space for 176 new seats. The relevant supporting furniture will be in place as soon as possible. However, some areas are still undergoing power supply renovation, so we kindly ask your patience and caution.
- The soundproofing renovation of group study rooms on the first floor and the renovation work on the third floor's sunshine area of the University Library have both been completed. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve our facilities and services.

Reading carries forward cultural heritage, and the fragrance of books nurtures the future
On 24 August 2023, the Library held the book Mr. Deng Kangyan’s book donation ceremony on the second floor of the University Library. Professor X. Q. Cai, Associate Vice President of CUHK-Shenzhen, attended the donation ceremony on behalf of CUHK-Shenzhen. He presented Mr. Deng Kangyan with a donation certificate and reciprocated with a gift. Library Empowers New Students with Engaging Orientation Event
On August 12, the New Student Registration for the 2023 English Pre-sessional Course (EPC) was held at Teaching C. More than four hundred students participated. Throughout the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite shared readings. The presenters of the two highest-voted shared videos will each receive an International Space Station LEGO set as a prize. We cordially invite you to attend the opening ceremony of the Art Infinity series of cultural exhibitions. The theme of this exhibition is "The Forbidden City - Qianlong Emperor's Collection of Calligraphy and Painting," which aims to showcase the precious calligraphy and painting treasures collected by the Qianlong Emperor in the Palace Museum. The exhibition will display high-definition replicas of 20 valuable artworks, presenting a rare cultural feast. The opening ceremony will be held at the Sunshine Area on the third floor of the University Library from 15:00 to 17:00 on Monday, September 4. Refreshments will be provided for the exhibition visitors, and a professional guide will be available after the exhibition to better understand the exhibits' historical and cultural value. In addition, we have prepared commemorative refrigerator magnets and postcards for the Art Infinity series of exhibitions for visitors to collect while enjoying the exhibition. More…
